Here at Fruit4Office, our goal is to invest in a more sustainable, just, and healthier future.
We believe that everyone should have access to nutritious food to support healthy eating, and to contribute to a happy and healthier life. It is our mission and goal to help those that are in less fortunate situations that may not have access to food and healthier food options. That is why Fruit4Office works has partnered with City Harvest, New York’s first and largest food rescue organization.
Accessing nutritious foods is one of the fundamental goals of City Harvest, a goal Fruit4Office wholeheartedly supports and shares. It is a priority here at Fruit4Office to contribute and do our part in making the world a better place.
We are better together
City Harvest helps feed millions of New Yorkers who struggle to put a meal on their tables. Even though New York City is a wealthy city, people still suffer from hunger. Millions of people have a hard time earning enough for a decent meal.
City Harvest's mission has always been to feed hungry New Yorkers, with neighbors helping neighbors.
City Harvest rescues 111 million pounds of fresh, nutritious food. They deliver it, free of charge, to nearly 400 food pantries, soup kitchens, community partners, and their own Mobile Markets across the five boroughs.
We are honored to be in partnership with City Harvest.
Fun Fact
For every single fruit basket we deliver, a percentage of our proceeds goes towards feeding thousands of those in need in New York City.
This year, City Harvest will collect 111 million pounds of good, nutritious food from farms, restaurants, grocers, and manufacturers to help feed New York's population of over 1.5 million people.
